The Boys Varsity Soccer Team came away with a 2-1 win over city rival, Muncie Burris. Toby Gruver scored a breakaway goal off of a beautiful midfield assist from Angel Rueda (his 9th of the season). After the Owls scored on transition midway through the second half, the Bearcats responded in under 60 seconds when Brayden Escamilla found Isaac Wooten streaking to the top of the 18. Wooten buried home the winner with a clinical one touch finish and the Bearcats held onto the lead for the rest of the game. This notches the 5th win the Varsity squad, and they will be back in competition next Tuesday, the 9th, at home against Richmond.
