The Lady Bearcats got of to a rocky start Friday night, falling behind 27-9 in the first quarter. They fought back in the second quarter by outscoring the aptly named Giants 12-10. The third quarter watched the game get out of hand with too much of Marion’s all state candidate RaShaya Kyle. Tonisha Lowe, Lexi Franks, and Marissa Quiroz fought valiantly to deny Marrion’s big girl but to no avail. Bright spots for Muncie Central were the crafty play of point guard Garynn Sims-Jones who finished with 17 points and 5 assists and Tonisha Lowe who finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Marissa Quiroz and Lexi Franks finished with 7 rebounds apiece. The Bearcats look to get back in the groove tonight at Frankton.
