Game Recap

The Varsity team picked up a solid Away Draw against Kokomo on Saturday.

Nathan Bailey found the back of the net for his 3rd goal of the season after picking the pocket of a Kokomo Defender. Clark Bailey and Jack Byrnes had a number of attempts that just barely missed throughout the game. The Bearcats did control a majority of possession thanks to their first half play. Kokomo came on strong in the last 20 minutes to force the issue. They ended up scoring a very well-placed shot from about 25 yds out. Noah Scott came up just an inch or two short, still managing to get his fingertips to the ball.

Both Teams showed great Sportmanship and Competitiveness throughout the entire game. Overall it was a great game to watch and compete in from end to end!

JUNIOR VARSITY.

The JV Team lost to Kokomo 5 – 1. Trevor Cool found the back of the net for the Bearcats late in the 2nd Half to prevent the shutout. Chase Beck had a number of fantastic saves. In total he recorder 15 for the game.

Next up for both teams is Blackford on Thursday (8/24) at home starting at 5:00.
