Yorktown High School
Muncie Central High School
The Bearcat lost tonight to a tough Yorktown squad. It was senior night for the Bearcats, but despite the tough loss it was a great night honoring our seniors and some great competition.
Two Bearcats were victorious in their individual events tonight for Central. Natalie Smith recorded the first win of the night for Central scoring a personal best 195.05 in the diving and getting close to breaking the 200 mark! Grace Rosenbaum swam a masterful 500 to emerge victorious as well. Her time is hovering right around her personal best in that event.
Winning the new Meet Popcorn award tonight, for swimmers with outstanding performances at home meets, were Natalie Smith and Jenna O’Donohue. Jenna dropped yet another second in the 100 butterfly which brings her down to a 1:17. Finally, Sarah Tinder completed her high school dual meet career by swimming the 100 breastroke and clocking a personal best 1:23.92. Congratulations to the following seniors for a great season and dual meet career:
On to sectionals!
