Meet Recap

The Bearcat men came away with a victory this evening despite their low numbers. With two swimmers sick, the guys went to battle with 6 swimmers and 3 divers. Despite the depleted forces, they won 10 out of 12 events. The boys remain undefeated on the season and take on a the reigning sectional champs, Delta, on Thursday.

Leading the way for the Bearcats tonight was Eliyahu Young who had his first ever double event winning meet. He dominated the sprint events winning the 50 free as well as the 100 free. Lukas Bradford and Brock McCoy were also double event winners this evening. Brock won the distance events and Lukas took down the back and fly.

Bryce McAbee had an exciting race swimming the 500. It was competitive throughout, but he was outouched in the end. However, this extra effort still earned Bryce a sack lunch award.

The other sack lunch award went to Nick Schmaltz. Nick not only won the diving event, but came out of retirement in swimming to swim the 100 breast finishing second. The other divers looked great tonight as well. Everyone pitched in to earn the W
